Photo 365 - Day 356 (Wrong God)

Day 356 (June 24th, 2011)
Title: Wrong God

Sorry for the bit of a blurry shot (although I think you can see the main focus of the photo), the old man "guarding" the booth wasn't happy that I was taking pictures.  I'm sure he'd be less happy if he knew what I was going to do with them.

I remember remarking, "What God do you pray too?" when leaving the booth.  I'm going straight to hell, but at least I'm going with good credit!

Enjoy!

Photo 365 - Day 332 (Tree Blur)

Day 332 (May 31th, 2011)
Title: Tree Blur

What they say is true, if you are always running you never get a chance to stop and "smell the roses".  But, if you are driving, you can at lease take pictures of blurry trees and look at them later.  Heck, if you are lucky you can even tell people you were trying to make them blurry for the "artistic value" of it and use it in a blog.

Still, I like them, blurry or not!

Enjoy!

Photo 365 - Day 330 (Broken Trust)

Day 330 (May 29th, 2011)
Title: Broken Trust

While walking around the Boulder Community Hospital, looking at all their "people who are cool because they gave us money" wall, I noticed the current photograph of the Board of Trustees.  Now, the picture of the board wasn't particularly interesting or amazing, but what I thought was "cute" was how the word "Trustee" was broken.  I'm not sure if this was some sort of cosmic social commentary or just a bit of amusing irony, but either way I smirked for quite a while.

Enjoy!

Photo 365 - Day 172 (Worst Sale)

Day 172 (December 22nd, 2010)
Title: Worst Sale

I, like many others I am sure, am always trying to save money while shopping.  While walking down the isles of the store, browsing for the random things I need I look for the "sale stickers" on whatever item they are trying to push that week.  Now, normally when I see the little yellow sticker, my brain immediately goes: "Ooh!  It's on sale, get that one!"

Lucky clearly recognized this shopping behavior as well, so they've decided to really mess with us 'attentive, cost-cutting, shoppers'. Basically, this picture is one of two things: Lucky employees are idiots or Lucky employees are evil.  Either way, I still bough six cases... stupid sticker.

Enjoy!

Photo 365 - Day 4 (Irony Sign)

Day 4 (July 7th, 2010)
Title: Sign of Irony

Ok, this one needs a little explaining.  I saw this sign posted on a large electrical box in Oakland, and I thought: "Wow, how ironic, a sign that says posting signs is prohibited, that will make a nice picture."  But, after taking the shot I noticed the sticker on the other side of the box didn't have the painted section and the complete warning is: SIGNS & GRAFFITI PROHIBITED.  Oh! Irony within irony! Someone painted over the word graffiti.  Even gangsta's have a sense of humor (and irony).
