Day 346 (June 14th, 2011)
Title: Rocks and Trees

I'm down to my last 3 days, I've got 20 photos to post, I've only got my "point and shoot" camera, and it's a 106 miles to Chicago. (Opps, sorry, channeled a little Blues Brothers there...)  I'm going to try my best!

Today: Rocks and Trees while walking around Colorado.

Enjoy!

Photo 365 - Day 345 (Chirp Chirp)

Day 345 (June 13th, 2011)
Title: Chirp Chirp

While I was walking around the streets of Boulder, snapping shots of random flowers and weeds, I looked up and saw these two birds looking at me.  I, of course, immediately took a few shots of them before they had a chance to mug me and steal my sunflower seeds (clearly they were mafia-birds).

Enjoy!

Another "walking 'round Colorado" flower... err... weed more like.  Still, looks nifty!

Enjoy!

Photo 365 - Day 341 (Colorado Yellow)

Day 341 (June 9th, 2011)
Title: Colorado Yellow

I'm not really keen to hang out in the hospital, that's why I go out a lot, which in turn means that why you are getting so many flower photos!  Also, some folks are allergic to flowers in the ICU, so you can't bring them flowers - so this is my way to give flowers digitally!

Enjoy!

Photo 365 - Day 340 (Coral Flower)

Day 340 (June 8th, 2011)
Title: Coral Flower

Another flower I spotted walking in Boulder, CO.  When I saw it, it reminded me of the coral reef exhibit they had at the Monterrey Bay Aquarium.

Enjoy!

Photo 365 - Day 339 (Green Walk)

Day 339 (June 7th, 2011)
Title: Green Walk

One of the nice things about Colorado, are its sidewalks - they are surrounded by green (trees, grass, and flowers).  Perhaps this is more of a Boulder thing, but so far I quite like it.  I wish more side walks were like this in San Francisco / Oakland.

Enjoy!

Day 338 (June 6th, 2011)
Title: Colorado Purple

One of the things that I do to help pass the time here in "lovely" (and by lovely, I mean scorching hot) Colorado, is walk around and take pictures of the random flowers and plants that I see.  So, here is the first in a small collection of flowers that I've spied walking around Boulder Community Hospital.

Enjoy!

Photo 365 - Day 337 (Green and Blue)

Day 337 (June 5th, 2011)
Title: Green and Blue

While walking around Colorado, I was certainly missing my Pacific Ocean and all of the water, but I do have to say, I love looking at all of the green hills and blue sky! (Yeah, I know San Francisco has blue sky too, but you can't always see it because of the fog!)

Enjoy!

Photo 365 - Day 331 (Rocky Mountains #1)

Day 331 (May 30th, 2011)
Title: Rocky Mountains #1

A photo of the Rocky Mountains on our way to Denver, CO.  Sorry for the graininess of the photos recently, the fun of using a camera phone.  This picture was taken by Theresa!  Thank you!!

Enjoy!

Photo 365 - Day 330 (Broken Trust)

Day 330 (May 29th, 2011)
Title: Broken Trust

While walking around the Boulder Community Hospital, looking at all their "people who are cool because they gave us money" wall, I noticed the current photograph of the Board of Trustees.  Now, the picture of the board wasn't particularly interesting or amazing, but what I thought was "cute" was how the word "Trustee" was broken.  I'm not sure if this was some sort of cosmic social commentary or just a bit of amusing irony, but either way I smirked for quite a while.

Enjoy!
